What an incredible two days at KIOSC!
We were thrilled to host the regional finals of the 2025 UNEARTHED FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Competition, and the energy was electric! 🚀
Students from across the region showcased their STEM skills, creativity, and teamwork as they tackled this year’s challenge: UNEARTHED™ – uncovering the past to discover the future. From coding and robot design to innovative problem-solving, these young minds demonstrated what’s possible when curiosity meets collaboration.
The event wasn’t just about robots—it was about core values like discovery, innovation, inclusion, and fun. Coaches, mentors, and parents played a huge role in supporting these students, and their excitement was contagious!
What is FIRST LEGO League?
FLL is a global program engaging students aged 4–16 in hands-on STEM learning through three divisions:
✅ Discover (ages 4–6) – playful STEM exploration
✅ Explore (ages 6–10) – fundamentals of engineering and coding
✅ Challenge (ages 9–16) – robotics, research, and innovation projects
Each season culminates in regional, national, and international events, giving students the chance to think critically, code creatively, and collaborate effectively. With over 679,000 participants in 110 countries, FLL is inspiring the next generation of innovators.
A huge thank you to all the teams, volunteers, and supporters who made these finals unforgettable. 🌟
