Introduction
Through this experiment, students will gain a hands-on understanding of wind energy and how to design and build wind turbines. They will also develop important STEM skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and design thinking.
Program Overview
The KIOSC program designed is for one experiment where students investigate how many blades and what length of blade should an efficient wind turbine have. There is more scope to go beyond this single activity using the Teacher and Student resources from STELR.
