KIOSC is again hosting the Yr 7 and Yr 8 Mathematics Competition for our Partner Schools.
KIOSC and MATHSPACE have partnered together to host this years Mathematics Competition. Riding on the success of 2020’s Yr 7 competition, we have now created a Yr 8 experience.
Prizes are awarded each week to students who demonstrate ‘GRIT’. The GRIT awards are for students who show engagement, resilience and work well regardless of their math skills. Determination is key in receiving this award, nominated by teachers and KIOSC educators.
The Grand Prize is awarded as a School Prize where a class set of STEM equipment is awarded. This prize is a demonstration of school pride and engagement in the 3 week program.
