KIOSC is hosting 2 days of finals this year. (Teams only compete on one day – emails have been sent)

Locations:
- Registration will be in the KIOSC Foyer (Level 2)
- Pits located in your designated room. Practice Tables are limited and are only mats, please bring your own practice mats if required.
- The robot game will take place in WK204 Discovery Room.
- Judging will take place in both WK104 and WK103 (Ground Floor Level).

Specific information, as well as each team’s personalised schedule for the day, will be issued during the registration process on the morning of the competition. Each team packet will also contain 10 generic participation certificates.
All attendees should pack a lunch, snacks and water bottles on the day. The Swinburne Bookshop Café is located on the Map Reference D7 .
Coaches must do the following: All participating students and coaches must print, complete, and have signed consent forms on the day (see links below). Please prepare in advance. Forms are available online via the links below. Complete both the FIRST Consent (mandatory) and MQU consent (optional) per person – students and coaches. Failure to supply these during morning registration will forfeit the team’s participation in the event.

Parking: FREE PARKING. Travel by public transport is advised where applicable.
Bus parking is located in the top gravel car park on the left when you enter at the Stud Road intersection traffic lights. Map reference: D1.
- PLEASE BRING: All loose bits of your City Shaper challenge kit ONLY; you will use these on the practice table. Only the dual-locked missions will be provided on the practice tables, to prevent loss of parts on the day.
- Coaches Meeting: Mandatory for at least one coach per team. See schedule for time and location.
- Innovative Project Judging: Please put any presentations on USB, a computer and AV/projector will be provided for the team.
- Core Values Judging: There will be a Core Values activity in your judging session; please do not share this with other teams on the day as everyone will be doing the same activity.
- Robot Design Judging: Please bring the engineering notebook and your robot; there is no longer a challenge kit or table setup in RD judging.
- Robot Game: Each team will have 3 rounds at the robot game table on the day.
- Practice Tables will be available in the KIOSC areas: teams may only sign up for two practice spots at a time and these spots may not be “back-to-back”.
- Coaches & Parents may watch the Innovative Project, if space permits. Coaches, nor any other adult, may assist in the project setup in any way – nor may they speak to judges at any time. Failure to abide by the rules may forfeit the team of any awards.
- No Adult or Coach should ever speak to the judges, answer questions on behalf of the team or coach/prompt the children in any way during judging sessions. This FIRST LEGO League policy will be reviewed in the coach’s meeting as well. Failure to comply can and will disqualify your team from any awards.
